I'm looking for an online baby registry other than babies-r-us, any suggestions?

Check out www.thedapperbaby.com. It's this great new designer store for Babies and Toddlers. Really cool stuff and they even have a networking area as well.

The new website www.HeirloomToBe.com is getting a registry soon. You will be able to post all of the places you are registered as well as Heirlooms To Be. It will be very user friendly.

Babystyle.com is a good one. If you like modern stuff.. moderntots.com. We registered at both. Also www.rightstart is always great!

We also used myregistry.com and I was really happy with the variety of things we could add. You can add things from any website - from Vermont wooden toys to Indian organic towels to Target onesies.

When we have our baby, I think we'll use http://whatcanibuy.com - You can list any gift from any store there also.

Hi Colleen, of course I would recommend my own store www.chichibean.com :) and I would also definitely recommend Kaboodle because you can create a registry of items from anywhere on the web. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
All the best!

Hi! There's a really cool new site that is specifically for BABY registries or Wedding registries -- http://www.wishpot.com -- which allows you to save items from ANYWHERE on the web. Once you register, you can add anything to your wish list through a simple click. You can then share your list with your friends and family and they can purchase directly from the variety of stores when they view from your list. Basically, you can shop anywhere, and click on "add to my wishpot" button that goes in your address bar, and then voila - it's there on one centralized list! That way, you aren't limited to just one supply source.

I'd like to add as a disclaimer that my company became a partner with them recently, which is how we found out about them. I think it's a really great service for anyone (they do wedding registries too) and they're just kicking off the baby registry side of their services.

Hi,

I want to create a small registry on target.com but I would like to then just make a "suggestion list" of things like hand me down clothing, books, a mommy and me class, etc... and ask my sister to stuff those in the shower invites. Has anyone done anything like that??? What did you say? What did you ask for? How did it work out?

Thanks!!
