I'm looking for an online baby registry other than babies-r-us, any suggestions?

I registered at Amazon.com, and at Giggle. Giggle is cute but expensive, and Amazon allows you to list things from all different stores and vendors!

There's a website called www.wishpot.com. I wish I knew about this site when I was registering.

Shop anywhere - One baby registry
Create your baby registry with Wishpot, add items from your favorite stores, discover great ideas for baby, and share your registry with friends and family.

I used Amazon.com's baby registry . Which pretty much does the same thing. You register for pretty much anything you want from various stores. It worked out great for us.

I went with BuyBuyBaby as my main registry location, and added other stuff from around the internet on myregistry.com.

I can't say enough about BuyBuyBaby. They have the most incredible customer service, competitive prices, and amazingly fast shipping. They are truly incredible.

myregistry.com has been ok. It's great because I did want to register for some other things that BBB didn't have -- my diapers, books, a custom baby carrier from babyhawk.com. My only complaint so far with the site is that they have some preferred vendors that they use for certain items. Currently I'm having an issue with my Bugaboo stroller, bought for me from myregistry.com instead of directly through buybuybaby. Myregistry.com sent my mother-in-law to their preferred vendor, instead of BBB as I had originally listed it, and now I'm actually missing part of the stroller that was never shipped to me.

So, I'm just saying, be careful. Overall myregistry.com is a great tool, but they're not necessarily the most reliable.

Hope that helps!

My family uses target for baby registries.

I registered with B-r-Us, Target, and Wal-Mart, after comparing what's available and for what price, and then picked my favorites from all 3! Oh, and Amazon, although not so much for the prices as just to list things that only they have available. But I think I read recently that they've changed their wishlist to be a "Universal Wishlist" that accesses the whole web, so that might be something interesting to try!

I found Target.com baby registry pretty easy to create and share....I'm Maria Castro from Kiss FL if you want to check out my list ...I put a note on my list that anything like whats on the registry is acceptable...we are not picky and are accepting gift cards because we moved away from everyone. I'm just trying to figure out if I can just pick up what people have bought us at target store near us or do they ship it to our address.

My friends are all registering at http://www.babyearth.com because they have so many organic and eco-friendly baby products. They have some fun sample registries online too.

We used myregistry.com for my baby shower and continue to use to for Little Brian's birthdays and Christmas wish lists. It's a very good service.
