My preemies
I have two sons, and both were born at 27 weeks gestation. With my first son, Jack, I had eclampsia, I went blind and went into seizures. Jack was 2 pounds 3 oz at birth, and ended up spending 3 months in the NICU, with oxygen assistance for 6 more months after that. Now he's a busy bouncing 2 year old who is so loving and amazing you'd never guess at all he's been through.
My younger son, Alex, was born at 1 pound 12 oz, and spent 2 months in the NICU at first. He had an easier time than Jack did, although the birth was harder on me. He ended up getting RSV his first month out of the hospital, and went back to spend 3 more weeks in the ICU. Now though he's a growing rosy adorable little fellow!!
