What are your children's names and birth dates?

Cali Spring ~ September 21st

Are you considering having more?

NO!!

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

My one goal in raising our daughter is preparing her for a world that's not always fair, just or kind....and that her reaction to these events determine success or failure. To treat everyone with kindness, regardless of their race, sex or economic status. "Do unto others" is our foundation rule and I firmly believe success lies in simplicity.

Outside of that, we live, laugh and learn...and try not to eat our boogers in public.

What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?

The book of LIFE.

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

We read everything.

Fave toys: Any two things that can interact and have conversations. Sticks...napkins, Little People. It's all the same to us.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

What are your family's favorite foods?

* Spaghetti
* Ice Cream
* Popsicles

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

Our kitchen and den.

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?

Bohemian

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

A free spirit, artistic and musical...and nowhere near the corporate world.

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.

The second they placed Cali in my arms for the first time.

Who are you looking to meet on The Playground?

I'll tell you who I'm NOT lookin' to meet on the playground!

* Moms who have a nervous twitch from the constant attempts to keep their child free of dirt, germs and failure.

* Moms who start conversations with "My child is so brilliant she could blind you AND your kid with the magnitude of her almighty greatness."

* Moms who take a look at your kid and say OUTLOUD, "Hm. Those pants look awful familiar. I know! I gave those to Goodwill last month! Remember honey? You spilled grape jelly on them? We don't wear dirty pants, do we sugar booger?"

Bottom line....I gravitate towards the Moms whose kids are filthy and smiling.
