Married to Brian and have a baby girl named Lila who was born on Oct. 13, 2007.

What are your children's names and birth dates?

Lila Katheryn, 10 months

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

I'm probably most influenced by Dr. Sears and attachment parenting. My main focus is on making sure my child feels loved and secure and becomes a responsible citizen who contributes to society.

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

Books: Time for Bed, I am a Bunny, Goodnight Moon, Mama Mama/Papa Papa
Toys: Lila is currently most enjoying anything that she can get her hands on that are not actual toys, but when limited, plays a lot with her Little Flyer Walker Wagon, her little toy piano, and anything that makes noise when slammed together.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

What are your family's favorite foods?

I'm making mostly homemade baby food right now. She also loves crispy dried peas and gerber sweet potato finger foods.

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

Home, Farmer's Market, Zoo, the pool at the Y

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?

Loving

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

Not sure.

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.

Many months ago, I had Lila sitting in her car seat on the floor of the laundry room -- not buckled in. I turned to transfer laundry from the washer to the dryer and in a split second, she had rolled out of the car seat and landed face first in the drain on the floor of the laundry room.
