I am a 28 year old divorced mom. My daughter and I share our home with two dogs, two cats, four goldfish and my brother.

Claire-9 months

Are you considering having more?

I would like to someday, but I try not to think about it too much. I don't want it to rule my life and lead me to make bad decisions. I'm not doing it by myself again.

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

laid back.

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

Claire gets excited whenever she sees a book. The sight of "Barnyard Dance" makes her squeal. Right now she's into her babydoll or anything noisy.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

I hear Claire likes to watch Sesame Street at my mom's house, but we don't watch tv much at home. I occasionally watch HGTV and dream of what I'll do when I have time and money... ha ha.

What are your family's favorite foods?

At this point, Claire will eat anything she can get in her mouth. I end up speed-eating frozen dinners.

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?

comfortable

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

dentist--she's fascinated by teeth! Too bad she doesn't have any!

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.

When I had poop in my hair. I never thought THAT would happen.

Who are you looking to meet on The Playground?

Other mothers with crazy exes...would be nice to know I'm not the only one. But anyone really.
