Thank you! There is a picture that sort of "belongs" before it...I didn't think it would make sense to add it to the contest, but here it is:

Hi, your Santa picture is so cute!!!!I I think this photo would be great for a new website I have started called www.ScreamingSanta.com. I would love to feature your photo on the site. It is free to join and easy to post photos (and you don’t have to give any personal information to join). The site is brand new, and we really could use some more photos, and I think yours would be perfect!!! I hope to see you on the site!

I am sure that time does fly. I feel like we were just doing three hour feedings round the clock, and now they are smearing green beans and rice all over their high chairs! I love your girls' names. How far along were you when you found out it was twins? And did you know from the get go that they were identical? (I am assuming yes cause of the TTTS) We can't decide what we think and are too broke (from having twins!!!) to pay to have the test done yet. I suppose time will tell.
Logan was much smaller than Jack (4.6 and 6.13 were their sizes) at birth, so the differences have just begun to even out now.
Always nice to meet another mom with TWO!

Profile Information

About My Family
I am the mother of 3 1/2-year old identical twin girls (TTTS survivors!)... I'm also stepmom to a 15-year old girl and 17-year old boy. They moved in with me and my husband full-time just over 2 years ago.... so, I went from 0-4 kids in about 18 months flat :-p It's been an adjustment to say the least, but I wouldn't trade my girls for anything... the teenagers, however, are up for bids (JUST KIDDING)! :-p

My husband and I met in '92, started dating in '93, started living together in '94 and were finally married in 2000 (we procrastinate a lot, but I did make sure we got married before the end of the millenium :-p). We live in Maryland and have been on the web since 1995. I have actually been making my living on the web since 1996 (I haven't had a "real" job since I was 21)! :-) Since the kids started rolling in, I have had to kind of drop a lot of my projects, but now that the girls are getting older, I'm starting to pick things back up again. We are thinking about having another baby (and soon... I want to have my last one before I turn 35, and I'm about to turn 34!)... but, I think I'm starting to get the hang of things now...at least trying to hang in there, anyway! :-p

Things to do in Anne Arundel County...

I know this will only apply to those of you reading this who live in the MD area, but I'm actually going to be down in Anne Arundel County on April 1st, and I'm trying to figure out if there's anything I can do with the girls down there. My husband actually has an all-day work thing going on at Arundel Mills that day and, he might get a ride there in the morning, but he wants me to pick him up that evening... so, because I'll be out and about that day anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to best… Continue

Remembering 1991

Today is actually a little monumental for me. For some reason, certain things stick out in my memory, and I actually remember that it was exactly 18 years ago today (March 21, 1991) that I got both my driver's license and my first job (at McDonald's). I was 16, in my junior year of high school and, I think I remember the exact date because it felt monumental to me. At that time, I was so anxious to get out in the world and start living my life. And, these were my first major steps toward making… Continue

Marathon Dinner Prep and Blog Backlash...

Well, I just got done preparing dinner :-p I'm making this new slow-cooker recipe that I found the other day and, I thought I was doing so good last night: Dave had to go to work early this morning, so last night I made his lunch, set out his clothes... and I even got a 30-minute session on Wii Fit in. I also made sure I started the beans soaking for this recipe before going to bed, thinking that was all the preparation I needed to do the… Continue

March is Disability Awareness Month

Since my girls are only 3, this topic hasn't really come up for us yet, but I don't think they'll have any problems accepting other children/people with disabilities, because they already know what it's like to be different.
