What are your children's names and birth dates?

Simon- 3 years

Isaac- 8 months

nope!

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

Laid back, loving, but not permissive

What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?

I read 'em all and use what makes sense for me

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

Thomas trains, farm playsets, Jolly Jumper (Ike only!), dinky cars

"Guess How Much I Love You" is a favourite; Simon loves anything about cars or construction equipment, and Isaac likes anything that he can chew on. :)

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Cars, anything with the Wiggles

What are your family's favorite foods?

nothing fancy- chicken, rice, potatoes, pasta, pizza... yogurt, crackers, fruit and cheese for snacks- none us us really like vegetables, but we try to eat them, anyway.

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

At home, usually! We also like going to the park (or walking around the mall if it's raining) or going swimming.

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?

crazy

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

Right now, I could see Simon being in construction and Isaac being an entertainer

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.

There have been so many... Probably the night I looked at Simon sleeping in my arms and realized what an awesome responsibility I had to him- to love him, to teach him and guide him, and to respect him for who he is.
