My fiance and I live in LA, where I am currently a SAH. I am just easing back into screenwriting with my partner of 5 years. My fiance works as an electrical engineer for a start-up media/entertainment company.

Madeleine, 7 months

Yes

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

A mixture of RIE and common sense, age-appropriate and specific discipline - which at this point is none :o)

Spring is Here by Taro Gomi, anything by Helen Oxenbury, Olivia by Ian Falconer, Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

Mad Men, Lost, America's Best Dance Crew, Weeds, Psych. Monk.

What are your family's favorite foods?

Anything spicy.

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

The library and park near our house, by a friend's pool.

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?

Sedate

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

I haven't thought that far ahead, we're just looking forward to crawling.

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.

So far, it has to be our 9pm to midnight trip to the emergency room, to have our daughter diagnosed with "excessive crying of infant" and then smiling and flirting with all the hospital staff.
