My husband and I teach college writing and our daughter, Harper, teaches us.

What are your children's names and birth dates?

Harper, 16 months

Are you considering having more?

Yes, but not for a few more years

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

I try to be as laid back as possible. That way, I'm at least a little laid back :)

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

Harper loves Sandra Boynton books and, right now, anything with a cow in it.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

We love 30 Rock, The Office, and Lost.
Harper is just now starting to love Sesame Street. And, we're okay with that.

What are your family's favorite foods?

We love Thai, Chinese, and some good Southern food.
Harper was just diagnosed with a peanut allergy. So, she's not very adventurous at this point :(

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

The Toledo Zoo
