How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

We're figuring that out as we go. I try to live by the 80/20 rule - eat well, sleep well, play well 80% of the time so that the 20% that we fall short is a place of grace.

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

We love shakers made out of old spice containers, wooden spoons and anything that makes noise! There's no real preference on books, either, though lately we've been reading a lot of the Ear Book and the Click Clack Moo series

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

Dad loves all movies and mom can sit through anything.

What are your family's favorite foods?

"real" foods - home made, from our garden preferably! Dad wicked good on the grill, mom makes a mean pasta and has a good soup collection.

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

The florida room, at either of our families' lake houses, or at friends.
