What's Happening Now on The Playground
After resisting his nap for ages, I gave up and started folding laundry while he played with a toy on the bed. Moments later he had passed out. Our cat decided that since he was asleep, he was safe enough to curl up beside, for the first time ever.

This was an "accidental nap". After a long period of nap resistance, I gave in, got him up, and placed him on the bed with a rattle while I put away clothing in his closet...in very little time, he fell fast asleep on his future bed.
