I am a single mother of one amazing little boy. I work part-time in a college cafeteria, and I'm exploring the option of going back to college to finish my education.

Are you considering having more?

I would like to have one more, but since I'm no longer married, it's hardly an option.

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

I would like to give my child a good sense of support and encouragement so that he can grow up to be good-natured and independent.

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

Hope for the Flowers, Brown Bear, The Sneeches, The Lorax, The Giving Tree, The Grinch, Korean Folk and Fairy Tails, Berenstain Bears, The Empty Pot

Caterpillar Pull-Toy, Elephant Puzzles, "Demon toy" (it makes a lot of noise), Cups, Bowls, Spoons and the Printer's power button.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

Amelie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Spirited Away

String Cheese, Apple Sauce, Peas, Nectarines, Carrots, Green Beans, Yogurt, Smoothies, Potatoes, Crackers

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

Hastings Bookstore, Friend's Houses, HPU Campus and the local Coffee House.

Small

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

My son is going to be an electrician- I'm sure of it.

Oh, I don't want to go in to that.
