We are a family of three- mommy, daddy, and baby Sophia.

What are your children's names and birth dates?

Sophia James (First, Middle) - 13 mos. as of September 2, 2008. WOW!! How time flies!!

Are you considering having more?

Yes... eventually. Maybe another within the next year or two.

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?

I research anything and everything, but I pick and choose what's right for my little girl. For the most partl, I follow her cues and follow her lead. I'm pretty laid back. That's not to say that I'm going to be a pushover and spoil my kid (or in the future... kids).

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

BOOKS: "Do Donkeys Dance", "Goodnight Moon", "Snuggle Puppy"

TOYS: stuffed animals, wooden activity cube,

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

Mommy's fav: Seinfeld, So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef

Sophia's fav: Ni Hao Kai Lan, Signing Time, parts of some baseball and football games (That's all she watches)

What are your family's favorite foods?

Anything and everything edible... but just to name a few:
dumplings, guacamole, avocados,

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

The wading pool @ Greenlake, which is a half block away from where we live.

Perpetual Motion

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

Treating everyone with love and respect

Who are you looking to meet on The Playground?

Just other moms/dads that are looking to talk and chat with- about nothing and about everything!
