- So far it's just me and my 2 year old son, Beckett.

- Beckett- officially 2 years old

- Maybe in ten years or so...
- How would you describe your parenting philosophy?
- Listening to my babe's cues, letting him lead and judging when to step in when asked or needed. Keeping a relaxed outlook. Being okay with total destruction of anything in the toddler's path. Accepting that the ice cream will end up everywhere including in my hair.
- What are your family’s favorite books and toys?
- Sandra Boynton books (esp. the Pookie trilogy), Curious George, truck books, fire truck books, Tugga Tugga Tugboat, farm animal books...
Toys that are faves: things to hammer, Little People barn, pirate ship and animals, Discovery Toys market, giant stuffed Golden Retriever and variety of stuffed animal pals, puppets...
- What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?
- Mom loves "So You Think You Can Dance", "ANTM", "Project Runway", "What Not to Wear", " Grey's Anatomy"
Toddler loves Curious George with a passion, Thomas (Percy's the fave train), Max and Ruby, Bob the Builder...
- What are your family's favorite foods?
- Pasta, pudding, yogurt, pancakes, french fries, sushi, gyoza, applesauce, brownies, berry crisps, ice cream, tuna melts, rice pudding, meatloaf, sausages, chicken rice, bananas, cheese, apple slices.
- What are your family's favorite places to hang out?
- The beach, the playground, my gloriously fenced in toddler quarters (complete with sandbox, climber, pool and comfy hammock for me), the Ocean Discovery centre...
- What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?
- chaotic
- What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?
- Something they love whether it be practicing medicine or painting murals
- Who are you looking to meet on The Playground?
- Single, strong moms and other younger parents. People who can relate to the wild toddler stage.

Molly said… - Hi Tia! Regaurding the "new" parent- I do think people of our generation are less uptight about raising children. I aslo think we aren't the typical household of board wives and detached fathers. The dynamic is changing. I think a lot of us are still kids in our hearts and minds. (which is awesome because I know about all the cool toys!)

and i LOVE Beckett. they have the same middle name. but we spell Zander's like his grandpa, Wray.
i also see that you love SYTYCD!! are you on the same schedule we are in the states? did you watch last night? chelsea and mark are my faves but i'm starting to fall in love with will too!
