Today is Friday. The last day of the school week. This was Slater's (3) first week of school. Monday was the last time (unless I have another kid) I will be sending a child off to school for the very first time. I was very emotional. Yes, it's true.

My relationship with my mother is...well, strained. So when she asked me to meet her for lunch, I was like, "okay, I'll try". The kids will be coming home from their UK vacation at the end of next week. Right before Denim's 5th birthday. I've been Skyping and emailing with them like crazy. My youngest, Slater-3 will be starting school in a month. That's it. That's my baby. At this point in time, this is the last kid I'm sending to pre-school.
