Maze' Maze'

My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves blueberry buttermilk hotcakes. She asks for them every weekend so I came up with this easy whole-grain method and taught her to prepare them. Japanese was her first language and she'd call them maze' maze' which, for children in Japan… Continue

Crazy is right! In so many ways! I haven't been on here too often with Elijah trying to walk, teething, falling over, eating...on and on and on :) Things are great though, getting a little work here and there with our tech buisness, and the snow is finally all melted! Love the food blog, by the way, the photos are fantastic! Nice work ;)

I went to school at Columbia in that area. really nice and vibrant. Hopefully you can find some deals now with the market the way it is. Good luck. Let me know when you do your first event - you mentioned special supper clubs right? In different locations? I have read about that in NYC but never tried it. Sounds great.

Hi Xen's Dad! Great to meet you. I'm from a family of foodies, so looking forward to reading your food blog... I also used to live in NYC. One of my favorite places to eat was Blue Ribbon Bakery at Downing & Bedford in my old neighborhood (Cornelia Street, which in my humble opinion was one of the best food streets in Manhattan!).

Becoming a father has changed my outlook on life considerably, as well. The priority shift was rather earth shattering! ;)

And I hear what you're saying about how silly it is for fathers to feel insecure if they're actually involved and trying. Insecurity (atleast in my experience) comes with simply entering new territory and being unsure of how to proceed; I'm sure that you or any parent can relate. It's taking that insecurity with a grain of salt that is my challenge; of course I'm insecure about doing something that is important and I've never done before, but it cannot rule my decision making abilities.

"not half of anything"...sounds like you are helping to raise a fantastic little girl. I'm glad that our Elijah will not remember a time when only a white man held such an office, I think he, especially now, will be raised in a time where race, religion, or sexual orientation doesnt hold half as much power as it used to. Or at least that is what we will teach him...hopefully the world evolves to do the same.

Funny, a lot of people in the US would think that the UK is full of more common sense and open-minded people...grass is always greener I guess. I love your picture.
