'parenting from the inside out' and i love supernanny for parenting tips!

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?

favorite books: 'knuffle bunny' (1&too), 'not a box', 'wiggle', 'brooklyn', winnie the pooh nighttime hum,
favorite toys: purple bus, icecream truck, geotrax, purple bear, bike from geemy, and his umbrella.

What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?

yo gabba gabba, muppet movie, thomas the train, curious george, nature channel, and homemade movies.

What are your family's favorite foods?

wiles loves blueberries and anything with blueberries. he also loves raisins and dried cranberries and waffles. he loves most breakfast foods more than anything. oh, and of course, pizza and mac n' cheese.
ashland is obsessed with breastmilk and formula!

What are your family's favorite places to hang out?

the park, friends' houses, red hook pool, two boots pizza...

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?

playful

What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?

not sure.. probably something creative and sometimes i think wiles.e. will be a surgeon!

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.

ooh, there have been a few, but possibly the time when wiles was being bitten by his cousin and i thought he was lying and told him to just relax until i lifted up his shirt and saw a piece of skin was gone!
or, the time when his new brother came home and all he wanted to do was help, so i asked him to put his brother's clothes away for me under his bassinet (there's a shelf there) but he didn't really understand so i went to get something for the baby to wear and couldn't find anything and realized he put everything on the floor under the bassinet.
