We have one baby, Evie (short for Genevieve), who was born in March.
Are you considering having more?
Sometime ... not quite yet!
How would you describe your parenting philosophy?
Wow, I don't quite have one yet. I try to stay relaxed, but it usually doesn't work. ;) As long as the baby naps, we're all OK.
What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?
"Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child." Also, "Your Baby Week by Week" (or something like that ... )
What are your family’s favorite books and toys?
Evie still just likes to chew on books and anything else she can fit in her mouth.
What are your family’s favorite TV shows or movies?
None for Evie yet, but we're loving Lost (we're catching up on it), and enjoyed The Sopranos, and just started watching Weeds.
What are your family's favorite foods?
The baby likes everything we let her try (peas, sweet potatoes, rice, pears, peaches, applesauce ... ), and we like Thai, Indian, Vietnamese and Mexican food, pizza, spaghetti ... I'm hungry.
What are your family's favorite places to hang out?
We're lazy -- mostly at home or in the yard, the park, or friends' houses.
What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?
I asked my husband, who said "messy."
What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?
I think she should be a masseuse so she can practice on me, or a chef so she can practice on me. :)
Describe your most humbling parenting moment.
Every now and then, I still am amazed that Evie is actually a person.
