I think you should get help in spite of the risk of "labeling". There are many different issues that can feed this kind of problem: the teen's own emotional triggers, the repetitious pain-relief cycle that can become an addiction in itself, etc.

You can't keep giving in. Although it's a tougher road to travel, you have to set the ground rules and STICK to them. She'll hate you in the short term, but thank you when she's an adult.

HUMANITY VS ETIQUETTE
The age old scenario of children in a playground ganging up on the one that is different, is a communication crisis that has been happening in our society (The American), for centuries.
There is no difference between these school children and mature adults who are racial, discriminatory and bias.

I would like to thank Babble for being here for us mom's and allowing us to have a place to socialize, get advice and speak our minds. I have been here for a short time, almost 1 month.
