father's day
what are you planning for father's day? I am not sure yet, but I ordered the gifts for my hubby and father in law a week ago, so that's already taken care of. I am still thinking about a plan for us for that day ( besides going for a few hours at my inlaws)

I dont have money so I was thinking of just pampering him for the day...feed him his fav food make him his fav drinks etc

Not a thing. We didn't do anything for mother's day cuz I had to work and we are doing nothing for father's day cuz I have to work. Since neither DH nor I have a father anymore since they both died, father's day really isn't a big deal to us.

My poor DH is in Canada working, so he'll miss his first father's day. I feel bad because I think he was really looking forward to it. I guess we'll celebrate when he comes home.

On Father's Day we went camping and dealt with the flood. Not all of it was fun, but you can't say that any of it wasn't exciting. Definitely a father's day to remember. Especially at the campsite when the old man taking the money was asking which of the 3 guys we had with us was the father (so he could say happy father's day to him). I told the 14 year old that he should have said it was him.
