- About My Family
- My husband and I celebrated our ninth anniversary two weeks after our baby boy was born. We waited a long time for Andrew to enter our lives and how has it changed since that day! It is a daily adventure and just when we get used to doing things one way, Andrew mixes it up a bit, just to keep things exciting!

- What are your children's ages and names?
- Andrew, born September 2007
- Are you considering having more?
- Not at the moment.
- How would you describe your parenting philosophy?
- Loving, gentle, consistent. I think consistency in parenting is very important.
- What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?
- Baby 411: it gives some practical advice regarding medical issues and doesn't seem to make me feel guilty if I do something different!
- What are your family’s favorite books and toys?
- Andrew prefers to eat and chew his books currently, but five little monkeys and guess how much I love you are some good ones. Mom is usually reading mysteries, historical fiction, or a knitting/craft book.
- What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?
- fun
- What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?
- Hopefully something that they find fulfilling...and have financial security.
- Who are you looking to meet on Ning?
- Friends with similar aged children. Parents who are either local for meet-ups or ones who simply want to have an email/internet relationship.
