There are three of us right now and we are a happy, little family. My husband is a teacher and I work part-time at a bank. The rest of my days are spent with the little man. We enjoy the outdoors. Mike is a runner and bikers and I love taking walks (when it's not dumping snow!). We like being a family and are looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.
We listen to the rhythms of our family. We believe we need to be in tune with our son and ourselves. There are boundaries in our house (uh-oh places), but we like things as relaxed as possible. I have a loose schedule that Asher put himself on and we try to respect that as much as we can.

Describe your most humbling parenting moment.
We laid Asher down for the night, left the room and moments later he began crying. We decided to wait it out for a minute or two before checking on him. When I went in I found that his stuffed frog had fallen off the shelf and landed in the crib on Asher...the poor guy was scared and I felt like the worst mother ever.
