- About My Family
- We live in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Our house is always busy with a one-year-old who never stops moving and two little, scruffy, rescued terriers named Parker and Chloe.
- What are your children's ages and names?
- Jack, who just turned 1!
- Are you considering having more?
- I think we'll throw another one in the mix one of these days...
- How would you describe your parenting philosophy?
- Have a plan, but always be flexible. Oh, and make it fun!
- What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?
- Not sure if it's a "Parenting Book" but I just read Rebecca Woolf's Rockabye and thought it was great!
- What are your family’s favorite books and toys?
- Jack really loves Peek-A-Boo Blueberry. And I think Yertle the Turtle is great.
- What are you family’s favorite TV shows or movies?
- Jack doesn't watch any TV yet, but I love Project Runway, Top Chef, The Office, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
- What are your family's favorite places to hang out?
- The playground at the Silver Lake park.
- What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?
- Wild
- Describe your most humbling parenting moment.
- Spending an hour cleaning poop off an exersaucer - it was EVERYWHERE and those things have so many cracks and crevices! I almost threw it away, but then had thoughts of landfills full of plastic baby toys.
