We're parents in our late twenties with no idea how to balance our busy lives with this incredible new person. But we'll have fun trying... Oh, and Anselm's mom is an editor at Babble.
What are your children's ages and names?
Our little guy was born in March.
Are you considering having more?
Too soon!
How would you describe your parenting philosophy?
We spend a lot of time singing to the baby. Not exactly a philosophy, but it's the best I can do for right now.
What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?
The Internet.
What are your family’s favorite books and toys?
Anselm's favorite toy is currently a plush version of the penicillin microbe. He is doomed to geekiness.
What are you family’s favorite TV shows or movies?
I have a feeling there's lots of Sesame Street in our future.
What are your family's favorite places to hang out?
Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens (on free days), anyplace that serves coffee or ice cream.
What do you see your kids doing when they grow up?
I don't know; he's thoughtful, yet happy. A guru?
Who are you looking to meet on Ning?
Babble readers, working moms, parents with babies the same age

We totally love it here - every now and then I get antsy about moving, and then realize that I couldn't live anywhere less liberal and that I'd have a hard time with more urban. It really is the perfect balance for us. Let us know if you guys ever are in the area - we'd be up for a playdate! I was happy to see your review of the Eric Carle museum. I'd love to take Charlotte there. I've been across the parking lot twice this summer at the Children's Center, but just haven't been able to make it.
Hi, Anselm's parents! It's Charlotte's mom! AKA Anselm's-Dad's-Former-Hallmate. How many internet communities can I friend you guys on? We'll have to just wait and see.
