Profile

About My Family: We are a family of three (plus a cat) located in New Mexico. I am a stay at home mom to a silly 1 year old while my hubby is in the US Air Force. We are at our first duty station (Holloman AFB) and hope to leave soon!!
My husband and I are young, I'm 21 and he is 23.
I'm working on my BA, and my hopes are to have it completed by my 25th birthday.
We are living our lives, trying to raise a baby in this world and protect him and nurture him the best we can.

What are your children's ages and names?: Andrew, 1 year old

Are you considering having more?: Not for a while

How would you describe your parenting philosophy?: We are pretty laid back. Andy still nurses frequently though he does enjoy grown up food. We have no TV rule for when baby is awake. Mostly we just go with the flow.
Andy doesn't eat sweets except for the occasinal bite of cake here and there from parties and we try to stay as healthy and fit as possibly through diet and going outside to the park.

What's your favorite parenting book (if any)?: None

What are your family’s favorite books and toys?: We love Raggedy Ann and Andy. Our favorite books are Peter Rabbit and anything can we can touch.

What are you family’s favorite TV shows or movies?: none.

What are your family's favorite foods?: Andy loves cheese cubes and pasta. Watered down apple juice is good too. Pork chops as well! And of course, mama milk.

What one adjective would you choose to describe your household?: loud

My bi racial baby

Andy is a year old and walking and soon talking (hopefully) and all around just geting to be a bigger BOY!! I must admit that I'm quite nervous about raising him in this world. It seems so much different then the one where I was raised though the only thing that has changed is time, I suppose. One thing that really really really really worries me is his race.
